Verkhovna Rada Chairperson Volodymyr Groysman moves forward with an initiative to create an inter-faction union of deputies "For decentralization."
"I feel a big interest of people's deputies in holding structural reforms, including decentralization," Volodymyr Groysman told the press in response to a question in Khmelnytskyi on Friday.
"Decentralization is a basis, pledge, and the ground for the other reforms. Therefore, creation of this inter-faction union will be an adequate answer to the challenge of provision of this topic in the Parliament and will facilitate success of the reform," he said.
In the opinion of Volodymyr Groysman a lot of deputies of all political parties will be adherents of this union. "This union can become an engine of necessary changes," said the chairperson of the Parliament. He also highlighted the role of territorial communities in the implementation of the decentralization reform.
